Hey crowd.

Need to refinish my bumpers on WE4 (they are black, like the GN ones). What is the best way to do it: powdercoat or paint? What finish: gloss, semi gloss or satin?

Yes, I know I need fillers, lol

Thank you.

Both ways work. If you powdercoat you want it gloss. Remember you can cut and buff powdercoat as well

I had mine powdercoated for $350, came out perfectly. Central Mass. powderciating.

I hope that was for both bumpers!!! Yikes!!

Yes if you take them to the powder coaters its best to do the dissasembly your self. Deliver them with the shell and bumperetts and get Gloss black. Cheap price would be $80 a bumper normal price about $150.00 Im a repeat customer at my guy so I get some good prices and he does the nuts and bolts for me too. make sure you do your fillers while you have the bumper off.

Yes, that price was for both bumpers, bumperettes, turn signal trim, bolts, etc. Fully media blasted and work done quickly. Everything here in Mass. is expensive :)

I had mine powdercoated about 7 years ago..... they have held up well with 20k miles of driving on the street.

I had both of my bumpers done for $60 apiece including bumperettes here:

Luckily they are only 30 minutes from me. No rub strips,no reinforcements, completely disassembled.

They've got a 45ft oven for big stuff.

Great price. Nice work. Just pet the dog when it comes to greet you!
