Relocating Alcohol Reservoir

I'd like to move the reservoir for the alcohol injection from the standard location behind the fan to a less visible location, like behind the headlite. Are there any downsides to lengthening the hose between the pump and the up-pipe? Has anyone ever done this?

I've got mine mounted under where the charcoal canister mounts, right in front of the lf tire. Stealthy and it looks like it should be there.

With a little tuning (possibly an earlier turn on point) it will make no difference where it is mounted.

I have mine mounted behind the drivers side headlight. I then used a hose and some fittings to connect my windshield washer resevoir to the alky bottle, so now I fill the alky using the windshield washer resevoir. This also gives a little more volume to the alky bottle. Now you can barely tell I have an alky setup on mine. The only thing really visible in the engine compartment is the nozzle in the uppipe.

Change to a different tank/pump.. just another idea.. I mount the overflow where the SMC tank is typically located and use the factory overflow for storage since it holds 1 gallon.

Just a different way.
