"Found" the Movie Corvette Summer on the internet and got to sit down and watch it. I remember it as a kid and absolutely loved it. Man there were some cool cars in that movie, well except the 1970 GT bouncing on hydrolics! If you like older movies with Camaros and T/As running around, check it out. By the way, who has that Vette now?

Its in a casino in Las Vegas Ha Ha Ha I'm sorry it was stolen and painted Gold. Bastards

Yea cause he made only "15,000 lousy dollars a year" as a school teacher. I don't see how he could do that to Kenny especially after they laid all that glass together!:D

Some of the cars in the movie were cool, but that was the ugliest Corvette I ever saw, except for one around here with a really stupid looking spoiler on the back.

Wasn't that kind of a tiger shark look from the earlier year vettes? Didn't they make sell a kit with the flares and a more open front end? Its different thats for sure!

After seeing Mark Hammels acting in that flick, its a wonder that he got the Luke Skywalker/Star Wars roll soon after.

Actually Star Wars came out 2 years ealier!

lol,i have seen that movie so many times its pathetic,it was just on a couple of months ago

A few years back, I saw this vette on the cover of a (?) corvette (or auto product) retailer's catalog. Some BIG corvette/auto company. I remember they said they bought it & have it on display in their showroom. Think it was in midwest somewhere (IL, Iowa, ?)

The vette maybe ugly looking now, but back in the day, it was pretty wild & cool looking! (and there wasn't any TR's around for comparisons sake! )

Guy's the car is at Mid america corvette showroom Effingham IL. I seen it last year at the at the corvette fest there. If you like vettes got to go and check it out.

Sean

There were 2 of them made for movie. Yes 1 is in Effingham Il. The other is in Australia. Private owner

i watched this movie last fall. i had forgot all about it untill speed ran it back then. i was looking on ebaymotors a while back to and there was a guy that had purchaced the molds (that is what it said in the auction) to he car and was selling the body kits for them. if i remember corectly he wanted over 10 grand for each kit.

When I was a kid, I loved that movie so much, but now, it's another case of "What the Hell was I thinking?!" I thought that was the coolest car I'd ever seen, but now I realize that it's possibly one of the ugliest cars on the planet :p

Welcome to the 70's! Hopefully we will look at all these Ricers about 20 years from now and think they are even uglier:D !
