As per the posted schedule, there will be NO DRAG RACING at Gateway International Raceway from Saturday, August 30, through Monday, September 8, due to the Labor Day holiday weekend and subsequent facility reconfiguration for the Gateway 200 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series event on the GIR oval on September 5 and 6. The Street Car Shootout Series will resume on Tuesday, September 9, 2008.
