I cannot for the life of me figure out how to reach the rearward most tranny-motor bolt. I can barely even see it from the top and not even a glance at it from the bottom or passenger wheel well. Any ideas how to get this last bolt out?

from pass wheel well with about 2.5 feet worth of extensions with the diff bracket removed for access is my recollection

that bolt is known as the bitch bolt but once you have done it its not that bad

That last bolt was just about impossible to find, then it was so friggin tight I had a 3 foot cheater bar to loosen it. When it finally broke free i was sure I snapped one of the extensions. Engine is now out and ready to be disassembled.

Got the engine out and torn down. Looks like a weak spring allowed the valve to bounce and then broke the head off of the valve.

We now have a cracked piston, ruined head, and a block that needs to be checked over

I have dozens of stock L67 pistons and several pairs of heads if you need anything let me know. I have no overhead

I am sure interested in a piston and a single head. Shoot me a price

I vote Murph for buddy of the month, that's teamwork my good man.

Good luck JP,

Kevin.
