Removing EGR valve from intake what best way to block off?

What is the best way to block off the hole after removing EGR valve from intake? Should I fill with JB weld or use some kind of plate if so what kind?

I had my buddy at the machine shop just cut like a 2"x2" piece of 1/4 inch aluminum, then used the stock hold down. I used high temp rtv to seal it, then put in a piece of vacuum line to reconnect the two lines. Left the connector unplugged. HTH.

Take a flat piece of metal, aluminum or steel, AS DESCRIBED ABOVE and cut it with a hacksaw or whatever, drill hole in appropriate location and use the stock holdown to hold it on the egr port.
