The guy painting my car at work in a couple weeks wants me to remove the mirrors, bezels, grille, and bumper trim pieces myself. how do these parts come off? i have athe bexels and headlights and tailight off, but not sure about the other stuff

Mirrors attach with two 10mm nuts on the inside of the door. Take off your door panels and look inside the door where the mirror is and you will see them. Bumpers are attached to the frame by 8 13mm. The rubber just rips right off, the bumperettes are bolted to the bumper underneath. Grill has a few screws at the top of it. Easy to remove with the front bumper off the car, but just go underneath and look up and you should see them

When you say the bumper rubber rips off, are you talking about the plastic strips on the bumpers?? thats what need off the car

yup, the bumper strips pull right off. That's how I've always teken mine off

I am painting my car also and took all of that stuff off to. when i took the mirrors off i had the windows up but later on i relized that with the window down it is alot easier.the bezels come off by first removing the headlights (just remove chrome trim around headlight 4 screws) and then on the bezels thet is 4 screws you can see the slots for them but make sure to remove the coner lamps to just 2 screws on the outside coner. the bumber trim pieces come off by 8-10 tin nuts behind the bumper and there are like 4 spots that just pull outfrom the front the is no nuts for them. the gill is very hard to get at without the nose off there is 3 small bolts holding it on you reach up there with two wrinches or a socket and a wrench whatever and loosen them then to grill will slide back and fall down

GOOD LUCK:D

i tried prying off the bumper strips on a regal in the junkyard today just out of curiosity and it wouldnt go back on, the clips broke. how do you take off the strips without breaking them???

There are about 12 nuts that hold each one on. If you pry them off, chances are they will be useless. I did mine with the bumper off the car. With the bumper support off also.
