No long lines, and we have the track pretty much to ourselves! :)

My friend Tommy spoke to Paul G. today, and inquired about renting the track for a day.....

Paul G.:

"Any day after 5 pm, unless there is something scheduled (street nite, pro gas, etc.)

$125/hr, 4 hour minimum, PLUS INSURANCE AND TRACK PERSONNEL. Minimum 1 person in tower, 1 in shack (no announcer or starter) and 1 "safety person".

$125 x 4hrs = $500
Insurance = $???
Track Personnel = $???

Insurance & Track Personnel can't be THAT expensive.....

And maybe we can share with the Impalla SS gang, G-body club or Ford guys.........to cut the per car cost further? :D

I'm not sure if there is a "maximum number of participants" rule that applies, but if we get 50 cars at $20/car, it should more than cover the track expense @ 4 hrs.

What do you guys think? :D

Sounds like a great idea. My Wife mentioned that Sears was going to have their 2001 Christmas party there for the whole Automotive department there, had to pay $10 a person, it covered track use and food. Its was suppose to be from 6-10p.m and was suppose to cost them a little over $1000. But it nevered happen, it was a good idea though I was looking forward to it. I got 53 members from Turbobuick.com.

I'm willing to pay, even if I dont run! could be a quiet day (no weedeaters with fart cans) you guys can finally taste my moms teriyaki and fried chicken....(there goes my cholesterol)

Sounds like a great idea! I'd definitely be interested. Would be willing to fork over more then $20 if necessary.

I'll pull the lazy route here... Someone sets it up, and I'm in!!! :) Damn, Hopefully the loan on the new R1 will go through and I'll have that there too. :)
