Replacement/Rebuild for Drawthrough Turbo

Turbo off a 1983 Regal 231T motor. Has light play, seems salvageable if the market is allowing.

My question is, are there any good, close-to-OE replacements for the old carbureted turbochargers? It was fed by the original 4bbl feedback quadrajet prior to disassembly. Due to damages, it will be replaced, likely with a non-computerized unit.

It's a factory AiResearch Garrett. More information can be provided, I'll just have to dig it out again.

For a rebuild on an early draw through turbo, try G Pop Shop or Work Turbo. Both have experience with them. The '78-'85 draw through turbos must use special carbon seals.
