Thats like the couple that let their python sleep at the foot of the bed with them. After 3 or 4 years it quit eating and would lay length ways between the couple while they slept.

After a week or so they took it to the vet to see what way wrong. The vet told them it had been starving itself in order to devour a big meal.

WHen they asked why it started laying between them instead of the foot of the bed the vet told them it was trying to "size up" its victim to see which on of the two he could eat

i saw this on a special on national geographic and they had a guy who know alot about snakes and caught it and they did some footage of it. they cut it loose and then for some reason the reporter went into the direction the snake took off and got more then he bargained for. i hate snakes myself and if you mess with them then you can only blame yourself. seems like it was a good lesson that guy learned.
