The engine does not matter. It is the color of the wires coming out of your sending unit as shown in our ad.

Instead of paying an extra $60+ (for additional parts like paper clip & test wire)
I chose to buy the complete plug n play kit from Full Throttle & Speed for $99 shipped to my door

My car was already hot wired so I opted for Full Throttles Walbro pump kit. It was $99 shipped as above. I just installed it this afternoon and it is, in fact, plug and play. On the fuel pump hanger, the original plug that plugs into the factory fuel pump plugs into an adapter jumper that plugs into the new pump provided with the fuel pump kit, so nothing to confuse anyone.........even me. :D

This in-line adapter does not work with the G75 senders. It retains the aged / questionable G77 in-tank wiring and adds another connection to the picture. The 400-1016 is a generic GM installation kit not specific to the TR's.

You're right........I did have to retain the original wiring. I was lucky......... it appeared to be in good shape. At first I thought I was going to have to do some splicing but then realized the original pump plug plugged into the included two wire harness. Thanks! ;)
