I just noticed my reverse lights come on when in neutral. they also come on in reverse. any ideas how i can fix it?

The switch is adjustable and is on the top of the column (even with a floor shift) just before the firewall, under the dash. It is white and "half moon" shaped and can be rotated from side to side. This switch is also for your neutral safety switch and your seat belt buzzer. Follow these steps:
1. Set the emergency brake and put car in Nuetral. Have someone watch the reverse lights while you rotate the switch until the lights turn off.
2. Put car in Reverse and make sure the lights still come on here. If not, you rotated it the wrong way
- repeat procedure and rotate opposite direction.
3. Check that car still only starts in Park and Neutral
