My wife and I just sold our 02 IS300. They're nice cars, but won't run in the same league as a GN, V8 or not

The engine they installed was a 4.3L Lexus V8 rated at 290hp.
They mentioned an estimated 0-60 in 4.X seconds. I don't think so. Typical show for the "masses".

I enjoyed the show with the vintage Mustang buildup, and also the description of those other wild cars they built, but as soon as they went to a chevy V8 in a Lexus ........that was enough for me.

I wasn't real crazy about the Lexus bit either. I do like how they throw in other cars here and there. It wasn't a bad project, just not nearly as cool as the other shows. Looks like another new one next week. Still a great show.

You know, it would have been alot cooler if they had put a certain 3.8 Liter turbocharged GM V-6 in that little Lexus......
