Hi guys, been a while since I have been here, but finally got into seeing why my brand new turbo I bought a long time ago is blowing oil through and is because of the ta49 that I got, has a dynamic seal with a 360 thrust bearing. Not the 4 piece seal that is suppose to be right for our application.
I was quoted approximately $300 shipped to my door for a new backing plate and seals, but was just wondering if I can get a better deal than that. The turbo I have has very little use, and can't believe I still need to dump $300 more into it.
Any leads would be greatly appreciated.
