rim backspacing

Hey guys whats up. Before I buy new rims, I just wanted to ask what the right backspacing was. I have no idea. Thanks.

4" will work for a 15, 16, or 17 X 8 for a starter.

 

[RobsIron]

I've got 18x8.5 w/5" BS and minimal inside lip trim with very little rub.

You can go up to 5" BS on a stocker for a extreme or tucked look.

Red's right...4" BS is ideal for all around function.
