OK IVE JUST GOT DONE INSTALING MY NEW POWER PLATE WHAT KIND OF PERFORMANCE GAINS IF ANY OR ANY THING ELSE WOULD I GAIN FROM IT???OH AND I ALSO HAVE A 84 HOT AIR T TYPE SINCE IM GOING WITH A LITTLE BIGGER TURBO IS THERE ANY WAY THAT I COULD FIT IT IN THERE OR DO I HAVE TO GO WITH A NEW ONE THAT FIT'S IN GOOD/????THANX

A friend and I put the old style power plate(first design) on my car. I noticed a smoother idle, better throttle response, faster spool up and overall better acceleration. I was totally amazed at the results.

From what I have read the power plate evens the air flow to all cylinders.

This is designed to reduce knock. By reducing knock you can increase boost a little.

The goal is to have zero knock, but a little, less than 6°, is acceptable during shifts.
