RJC shaft braces

i have two used sets rjc rocker shaft braces ( aka shaft girdles)
each set is 4 pcs good for two heads . they go under the outer rocker shaft bolts and greatly reduce the chance of a broken rocker shaft ,

set 1 and set 2
i thought they were identical but on closer look set 1 has deeper cut bolt recess and looks newer than set 2
dimensionally they are the same but would guess set 2 to be stronger
