Rock Auto Bad news

Bought a GM LS1 power sterring pump.When i got it, it was wrong,not a big deal.Sent me a call tag to pick it up.At this point i needed the car out of my garage,so i bought one at advanced auto,thinking i was going to get a refund.They got the pump back and said it didnt come from rock autos warehouse.WTF! Told me to go pound sand,So now i'm $198 gm pump & $59.99 advanced pump.And sendind back the pump i didn order.So if any one puts a order in with rock auto remember me.

This customer purchased and ordered an ACDelco 36-5163105. The part returned was an Apsco 8545. Since this was not the part he bought from us, we let him know that we could return it to him, but could not give him a refund for it. We would never tell a customer to "pound sand" but we can't issue refunds on returns if they aren't the part that was ordered from us.

Been using Rock for a while now. Always good service, had an issue with a radiator for my Blazer once and it was taken care of promptly.

Since this was not the part he bought from us, we let him know that we could return it to him, but could not give him a refund for it. We would never tell a customer to "pound sand" but we can't issue refunds on returns if they aren't the part that was ordered from us.

Have had great service with Rock. But, is it possible that this part was boxed wrong?

Right; orderd acdelco got apsco.some one sent me the wrong part.you cant fix it.To me that means go pound sand,I have orderd things from them in the past and never had a problem,wouldnt that be a reason to return it because its the wrong part i orderd?I just want whats right.Oh they said it came from acdelco warehouse but the box was taped in rockauto tape,and all the other parts i orderd wer in in that box also.not acdelco parts dosent make any sence.Oh well!!!!My loss

If you order a valve cover gasket,and they send you pushrods,you cant return it because its not the part you order.Any one who thinks that is ok,then maybe im just overacting.

got the pump back today, that i didnt order .I cant believe this. so angry...
