I have not had a problem resizing buick rods

Like mentioned the radious under the head of the bolt and if you use new bolts they need to be torqued and released atleast 3 times in the rods before final torque and resizing

If not using a bolt stretch gauge you will need the same lube on the threads and same torque spec for assembly as used when machined

for one I will only have them resized if they are out of round ..if they are round and measure correct leave them alone

second If they have the factory sps bolts there is no need for arp bolts

there is also 2 different size arp bolts listed for buick motors .. possible they installed the wrong ones ?

I have never had a oiling problem in a buick motor .. with proper machining and proper assembly with a few oil system mods along with stock volume oil pump things will be just fine

one question tho ..Is the original oil pan still being used with the plate in it to help keep the oil from running up the back of the pan on launch ?? and have you checked pan to pickup clearence to see if the correct oil pump pickup is in the motor ??
