Rollbar/Cage insulation

Sorry if this is a silly question. Had anyone filled there bars with Great Stuff foam before welding to cut down on all the harmonics, vibrations and sound that travels through the cage?

I have heard of this before but haven't done it. I've thought about it though.

The expanding foam in a can you find in Home Depot. I used to do it on motorcycle handle bars to cut down on vibrations.
