Jan 9, 2006 #4 L Lee Thompson New Member Joined May 24, 2001 Messages 3,184 Tighten up I have had them tighten up 1-2 thous. after sitting as the gasket maybe compressed--You are good. Don't look back.

You must have the frt. cvr. gasket in place and the timing cover torqued/tightened down to get an accurate measurement. K.
