hello; I'am new. But where do you think the greatest rust area is on the turbo regal? It seems all cars have an area.
Mine is rusting at the bottom of the drivers door and the area near the top door hinge.
Also I have a moonroof as that can cause its own problems.

Add these to your list.

Floor pans
Rockers (outer and inner)
Roof (Drip rail area, corners near windshield, T-Top area)
Rear wheel wells (inner)
Trunk lid (lip)
A pillar (at the bottom where the dog leg is)

That's just off the top of my head. I'm sure there is more I'm forgetting.

Crease of the roof above the rear glass.Starts as surface rust hidden by the headliner from the inside.More prone to T roof and Astro roofs...
1/4 glass lips..Once pulled the glass out of one and took 2lbs of rusty flakes with it

Unfortunately as people have posted their is not one single area and a T-Top example just increases the spread of rust.

Frame rails after rear wheels dirt sits makes moisture, moisture leads to rusting metal which leads to NO metal present.

A key factor concerning rust....

Whatever you visibly see twice as much exists you don't see, and what you need to cut out and repair is always double the size of when you started.....reason it is also called cancer.....you can beat it, but seldom for good.....

I talk from experience at avoiding such cars.....since I have owned quite a number of them.
