Rpm gauge

Factory gauge not responding any ideas???

Was it even working at any point? They usually read like 2500 rpm at idle! I just yanked mine out and sent it to Caspers for recalibration. Not because I want to use it for a tach or boost gauge only because seeing the thing lit up like a Christmas tree was driving me nuts! Maybe yours has died. Does the boost gauge work?

Boost gauge works ok for what it is I just thought I had something hooked up wrong, thanks I'm gonna get a scanmaster soon

No change to the wiring the gauge comes on but it's stuck at 2000 and only moves at start up

Typical for how old it is. Caspers Electronics can recalibrate it if you want. About $100

Mine never worked, had same symptoms as above. I put a piece of tape over it and installed a auto meter shift light/digital tach. Do I need the shift light? Of course not haha but it is a small pencil shape without the huge ricer look and the shift light was handy when my trans let go and it revved to the moon, I knew something was wrong and to lift immediately because the light never came on before.

Pretty common to block it off. I think that the reason for most people wanting it repaired is to restore its originality.

Yeah, these cars are now ripe for restoration...says something about having OEM parts on the shelf I guess.
