So Im in this forum alot doing searches and I've been able to figure all the problems I've encountered so far just by doing searches. I want a second opinion on this though... Lol. I installed msd 50 lb injectors, a gen 2, 85mm maf and a extreme g chip. Blms are pegged at 160. Even if I max out the gen 2. I've swapped chips, went back to the stock intake and maf, and hooked and unhooked the gen2. Swapped the injectors and put the stock chip in.... Runs great.... I had the msd injectors flow tested and cleaned before installing. Any thoughts?

Oh.... Btw I tried the 50 lb injectors w a reds 108 chip that was burnt for them also. Runs like it has a miss.

The 50 lb injectors are going back. Caspers will take a second look at them. Btw runs great with gen 2 and 85 mm maf. Can't wait for bigger injectors!

Was the chip seated all the way in? Sometimes a new chip is a little harder to push all the way in. Also, was it setting any codes?

Yes, Chips are seated all the way. No codes being set. I got the injectors back from Caspers today. They said they were fine. I installed them and it still runs bad. Even with the Red Armstrong Chip. Maybe the sockets in the ecm are loose? When it was completly stock it had a similiar miss...... I swap the computers with a friend and it went away. Swapped my original computer back in and it fine fine again..... Any thoughts guys? Im gunna try the stock chip and injectors again tomorrow.

Your all over the place and hard to follow in your posts.

First off make sure the chip you have is indeed for the injectors you have...repeat the ones you have.

I would do a hard reset on the GEN2 and set it up again.

Post up your settings on the GEN2

Also, have you tried the INJ, Stock MAF, EX G chip and GEN2?

The extreme g chip I have was burned for msd 50 lb inj. I checked the numbers on it. I've done a few hard resets on the gen 2 and it didn't help. Here are the diferent combos I've tried:

Stock chip, stock maf, stock inj, no gen 2: runs good.

Stock chip, 85mm maf, stock inj, gen 2: runs good.

Extreme g chip, 85mm maf, 50lb inj, gen 2: runs bad.

Red Armstrong chip, stock maf, 50lb inj, no gen 2: runs bad.

Red chip, 50lb inj, gen 2, 85mm maf: runs bad.

I reconfigured the the gen 2 for each combo. Thanks for all your help.

Yes I have.... Stock maf, extreme g, stock inj, gen 2 runs good. I just pulled the chip and bent the tabs out. It didn't make a diference. It seems to me like the inj are the problem.... But caspers says they are ok. I'm going to swap the stock inj back one more time. If it runs good should I just buy Siemens 60 lb inj and have the chip reburnt?

When you say 85 mm MAF, is that the LS 1 and if not is it a choice on the gen 2? Are you running a WB and is fuel correction on?

Try ...50 inj, stock maf, ext chip and gen2 you didnt post that you tried that.

How are you doing a hard reset on the GEN2?

What is the Fuel PSI set at when changing betweem chips? Post base Fuel PSI numbers for both chips

When you say you maxed out the GEN2 what are you adjusting..mid scale, low, etc?

Sorry... Last post didn't load....

Fuel pressure w extender chip is 45 psi line off. Fuel pressure for stock chip set at 43 psi line off. Resets have been done by holding the top right button during power up. I've been using a combo of main, hi, mid and lo scales.

I put the stock injectors back in.... Runs good again.... With the stock chip it runs a lil lean... I can even get if to run decently with the extender g chip and stock injectors... No matter what combo of parts or settings I run those msd inj have a miss. 02 senser is seeing alot of oxygen from that and dumping a ton of fuel in the engine. Kinda like there was a plug wire pulled off. Thanks for the help guys.
