runs like crap- help!!!

I have an 86 that hesitates and misses. The service engine light comes on with codes 12,13,23,31,33,34. I think 12 is normal, 13 is O2 sens, 23 had my boost sens unplugged?, 31 and 33 not in my book (chilton), 34 VAC sensor Anyone know what 31 and 33 are? Is there a MAP sens on these cars. Just got this car in 4/05, it's my first. What does a scanmaster do?

I have all new Wallbro FP, 42.5 inj, adj reg set at 40psi for now, stock turbo/i.c., 3" TH downpipe, 18psi, new: plugs,msd wires, wells ign mod coil, new cam/crank sens.

As you can see Turbo Buicks can be pretty fussy.

Your codes are probably no big deal. The first thing you need to get used to doing is checking vacuum lines. Hunt them up and down and all over your engine to make sure they either haven't come off or they aren't split.

This will likely cure many of your codes.

A scan master is a hybrid scantool of sorts that mounts in the car. It doesn't display data as neatly and readily as Turbo Link or Direct Scan but it is cheap and you can easily mount it in the vehicle.

I am betting you have some vacuum lines off somewhere...very common. Many TR guys zip tie the vacuum hose to the connectors if they are prone to blowing off.

23 MAT (Manifold Air Temperature) Low Temperature Indicated

31 Wastegate Solenoid Circuit Fault

32 EGR System Fault

33 MAF (Mass Air Flow) Sensor. High Flow Indicated

34 MAF Sensor. Low Flow Indicated

Here's a great site to check out Vortex Buicks along with GnTType.org....Both along with the guys on the board have been invaluable help to me!! Map sensor is on psgr side fender well, has a vacuum line(hard) coming off it..
