rusted rocker panels?

I got my car painted about 6 months ago, im noticing the rocker panels are bubling underneath the door, that thin section..my friend said he can try and grind it down and repaint them but cant guarantee it wont come back.. no one sells new rocker panel sections that could just be welded on and then he can sand it and repaint it to the rest of the car?? im sure that be a better way of doing it no???

I got mine from Postons,(outers), don,t know if they still sell them though. Sherman shuld still have them if not.

Depending on how much you want to get into it, i'd suggest sandblasting the area with a spot blaster and then redoing the paint. Combine it with an epoxy primer and you shouldn't see rust again.
