?'s on interchangeabilty on headlight switches

I`m still working on getting everything ready to swap the GN's interior to my 82 Regal.
(YES.. I GOT THE DASH OUT)
I have questions regarding the headlamp switches, I want the full GN interior plus the dash facisa around the instrument cluster, What I found it the 82's switch is a push/ pull type and the GNs is a rocker with dimmer wheel.
Can I wire in the GN's in place of the 82's, if so which wires and colors to what?
Also on the defroster, same question, and plus it's also on the drivers side of the panel on the 82 whereas the GN's on the pass side of the steering column.
The instrument cluster it's self is not an issue, I`m going to use the Cyberdyne digital dash from my GN, all that needs to be done is send it to Cyberdyne and they will up grade the tach to an 8 cly reading, the boost reading will remain "00" or "EE" I did salvage the 3 bar map sensor just incase later on I add some type of forced induction.
Just wanted to know if those switches can be interchanged?

Wire colors from GN female headlight plug may correspond with your pull-push headlight switch. If they do, problem easily solved. If not, use test wires to test and change over.
