From what I understand he was very big in the LS world. He committed suicide over this past weekend setting in his TT GM pick up truck, he shot himself in the head. It is all over FB and on a lot of the LS forums. I found this letter that he posted right before he ended his life. Very sad. Condolences to the family

I love yall guys. Thanks for all the support. After this RHX Tuning will be no more. Everyone have a great life. Sometimes there's just too much stress in life that one man just can't take it. I've tried so hard to make everyone happy that I have exhausted every option that I know. I hope yall will remember me.
As to my friends please tell my dad that I love him and that this isn't his fault. Also tell him that there is money in my account for Johnny Peralta to be refunded towards his Vette
I've simply had enough of this life and can't take it anymore. I've struggled with chronic depression for years but have always hidden it. This day has brought out the worst. I guess I'm just not good enough.
If yall are reading this I'm already gone so don't bother commenting. Goodnight and goodbye my friends. Please take care of my dad if he needs it.

Wow! That sucks. You have to be in a real fucked up state of mind to do that.

Society's overall view on depression/anxiety/mental health issues contributes to the problem greatly. Read the line "I've struggled with chronic depression for years but have always hidden it". Why was it hidden? Because of the people that would judge him if he spoke of it....

Humans, in general, are social creatures. If negative social influence outweighs positive by a large enough margin over a large enough period of time, it will affect almost anyone. It could be any number of influences, maybe they are in over their head at their job, maybe it's family, maybe they have asshole friends, maybe they constantly strike out with the opposite sex, maybe it's their physical appearance, etc. but given the right circumstance, almost anyone could find themselves with seriously clouded judgment about their own self worth. Even the people that are "loners" and/or emotionally/socially introverted, probably become that way as a coping mechanism from negative peer influence. Anyone who has watched a close friend go into a downward spiral will acknowledge that it's a very real problem.
