Hey guys from Conneticut area... do they put salt on the roads when it snows? I found a car in Texas but it was from Conn. It spent 14 years there... do they cars rust out on the bottom real bad? thanks!

Not if it's not driven all winter. Around here most cars go to sleep in November and wake up in April. Some are so clean you would never know they are from NE. Others are not so clean:D

most northern cars rust from south to north & most southern cars from north to south :D

It is true bottom up on norther cars. But cars from say FLA can get Humidity in them rusting them at a different pace.

Then cars from sunny climates get toasted paint & interiors.

It is all how the car was cared for.

Plenty of salt.

Takes a long time to completely rot one away.

I am working on it tho. ;)

My car was never garaged however.

See the car first, or a million detailed pictures before buying one at top dollar based on a description. :)

If the car was'nt driven in the winter your probaby ok, alot of guys in the Northern states(everyone I know) put there cars away before the snow. But if it was driven in the winter it will have the start of rust, most likely where you can see it the least (under the car, on seams , between frame and body mounts ect.)
