A little side-step from the TR chatter...

Anyone in the San Diego County area? Or, a good Nailhead mechanic in the same area?

I'd like to chat with someone who can look over the Lark before I start any engine refresh/rebuilding, if possible.

Any help would be appreciated.

I don't know of anybody in SD county, but you might want to consider Lou Czarnota in Lake Forest, who generally specializes in turbo Buicks, and if that doesn't work, you might want to consider Tim Lee at DON Lee Automotive in Rancho Cucamonga, who does do a lot of early Buick motors.
Might also want to contact the SoCal GranSports, who will be at the Bates Nut Farm show tomorrow with some early Buick muscle. HTH
