Okay so to not lose sight of things and since that other thread is now long and confusing, lets do this. Post if you are going and what you are brining.

Going....... Watching/Racing.......... Bringing

1. Victor (My1stGN)......... Racing....... Cooler, drinks, Grill
2. Scott (Chevota)........... Racing?...... ?
3. Brent (Underboost?....... Racing?...... ?
4. Donnie (DonWG)........... Racing....... ?
5. Rafael (Rafael Vasquez). Racing?..... Carne Asada, Tortillas

We'll bring some more drinks and a mucho mondo potatoe salad thing.

Big Ol' thing of pico de gallo too. Hot! My Wife makes it good! We'll bring styrafoam bowls so everyone doesn't have to dip out of the same container. Some are picky about that. I'm a double dipper too.
We'll also bring chips, but if you're picky about your chips, BYO.

the wife and i will be stopping by to watch, but we will be on bikes. so it would be hard to carry stuff with us..

I have another buddy bringing tostidos chips, nacho cheese and salsa. Ill have him bring plates too! He might be bringing 1 more person. Hes from my Pontiac Grand Prix Club and will be racing so hopefully hes allowed to hang with us:biggrin: I figure since he drives a gm v6, its okay.

yeah it was a blast. I wanted to meet the of the GN folks, but I did'nt get a chance to meet all. but I did talk to some of the guy's it was good meet rick & reggie real nice guy's, with two very nice/fast cars . I got a chance to talk to lou and did'nt know it was him he's alot taller in person then looking at his web page lol, and that car of his is just sick-sick-sick

Nice to see the Buick's represented at Fontana today. It was unfortunately a bad day for both the track and me. It started with an altered flipping over on the lane closest to the RR tracks. There were at least two more incidents on that lane before it was shut down. My car had some sort of glitch in the XFI program resulting in no readout on the target A/F. On my one and only run I was so interested in watching for O2 correction and EGT's that I forgot to shift the transmission. However Lou and Bob had some nice runs in the 8's and Reg on his first run with the new motor and 21 lbs of boost ran 10.00@135.
Thank you Ralph for the barbecue.

Videos should be up within a few days. I think I managed to get every Turbo Buick running at least once, and most multiple times. Here is a link to where the videos will be setup: http://www.motorgen.com/forum/showthread.php?p=1017#post1017 If anyone wants a higher quality version of any runs, send me a PM and I'll make it happen. The rest of the Alternative Motoring and Street Legal drag days are on the event calendar on the site. Simply filter the Calendar for drag racing. It was nice to meet all of you guys - you all really ran strong.

Scott, I forgot to set it up for the internal data log but the EGT's were 1590F so I think the A/F was O.K. Thanks for your help at the track yesterday.
Jeff

We could not blame the ricers for breaking down either, there were none. It was all American iron scattered all over the track. That is the first time I have seen the track like that, usually you can get all the runs in you want.

Thanks to Victor for the grill and Ralph for the carne asada. I had to go back for seconds.

Dad did great the first time out. That car has not run that quick since Carlsbad 4 or 5 years ago. There is a lot left in that motor too.

It was good to see everyone there.

We had a blast! Car didnt break and there is plenty on tune left. Too bad it was a little windy and track prep wasnt the best but still good. A little to windy for my taste so we couldnt get Eazy-ups working unless they were strapped to the ground! Wife and son had a good time. Food was real good and thank god my compa came out to man the grill! Hope everyone enjoyed the food! Thanks to all those that brought it out! Thanks to Donnie and his wife for the home made pico de gallo and delicious potatoe salad! Hopefully next private track rental will bring better weather! See you guys then!

it was nice hanging out with everyone. if the car isn't sold by the next track event, i will be there running it..

i have a nice pic of Lou...
