Hello b4black,
I have a 82 Regal Sport Coupe that I have recyled. It was missing the turbo
when I purchased it, I still have the block in corner of garage. I installed a
modified sbb 350 V8 in it's place and it is very quick, no time tickets at present. I also have a modified 85 turbo V6 on the engine stand. I have been giving some though of installing the 85 V6 with some type of blower on it, such as the one from XSPerformance.
What are your thoughts on this?

I would think that centrifugal supercharger would be at a serious disadvtange to the turbocharger. I run 16 psi of boost. I'm not sure that blower can do that, but I have no direct experience with anything but turbos.

I guess it comes down to preference. Each of those motors are cool. Since it's an '82, I'd go back to the carb/turbo (factory turbochargers are on ebay all the time for cheap), but there is quite a bit to learn to get them running well.

The 350 will be easiest, but the carb/turbo can match it's power and have poeple scratching thier heads.
