Scan master install question

I am putting in my scan master today it looks pretty simple .Are there any tricks and where do I fing the ALDL Plug ? Where do you have urs mounted ? I am thinking about the glove box

How you gona read anything from the glovebox?

On the ledge above the A/C and heater controls is the most popular place.

The ALDL port is under the radio on the left side. Kinda by your right knee when sitting in the driver seat.

How you gona read anything from the glovebox? .

put it on the top dash so you can see it going down the road... then later on once you gradgitate to other loggers you can put it above the radio

There is a plug under the radio controls the bottom of it has a sticker on it with numbers . It is def a plug . Is that the plug they are taling about . It is held in by two screws

I got it in . I have a question though

Here is the reason I got my scan master . Around 65 mph my intake started sounding like it was going to blow off . I was told to get a new fuel pump . The sound now came back at 85 mph , I put in a new fuel filter but decided to get the scan master .I realized throwing parts at the car wasnt going to be the way to fix what going on .
Now
What reading should I be looking for to see what is wrong . Right now the 02 bounces between 450 and 750. It stays in the higher number while driving but has only peaked at 750.
Technology/ elctronics is my achiles heel . I am just not into it . So how should I use this thing .
The best anolgy is that I can build you a TV stand you got to get someone else to plug the tv into the the cd player
