scan master install

how does the scan master actually install I dont have any directions and got it from someone else and where has everyone mounted theres?
I was thinking of mounting it on the dash somewhere, but where would I hide the wires?

Mounted on top of the radio pod.

Mine was originally mounted on top of the radio pod, but I don't like having to look all the way down there. I ended up putting it on top of the dash and covering it with a shade from www.buickgn.com so I could still see it during the daytime.
