scan master

ok I am very new to the buick scene and I plan on tuning my car to the best of my ability so I had some questions on the scan master

how easy is this thing to tune ?
how easy is the hook up

what else is needed to tune my GN
how is tuning done?
thanks alot guys I spend lots of time reading on these forums but have no concept on the scan master usage
so thanks ahead of time

The Scanmaster is very easy to hook up. Just 3 wires.... power....ground...and ALDL signal wire.

Very easy to use, but you'll need (minimum) a good aftermarket boost gauge since the stock one is useless (except as a "fun" meter) and an adjustable fuel pressure regulator.....and a good fuel pressure guage.....and an adjustable wastegate actuator.

With these you can tune it up pretty good. You basically adjust the boost and fuel pressure for max performance with little to no knock retard. The turbo buicks LOVE octane so the aggressiveness of your tune depends on the fuel you'll be using.

Make sure the car is up to snuff with the stock setting first.
