scan tool hookup

Well where do you guys have your Scan Tool(scanmaster really) hooked up at? I was going to use the radio ACC wire and ground because i dont have a radio in mine but i read in the directions that you can go to a fused source in the fuse box? Any suggestions? Thanks harry

youre correct,hook red lead off sm to yellow ign lead at radio harness(there are two yellow leads,one is ign(black plug),other is LR speaker neg-(blue plug)fused at box @10amps.black on sm goes to black at radio harness(ground).the computer lead (white) hooks to orange lead at dignostic plug under radio pod.when hooking to ign not constant power, remember to get all the readings in memory BEFORE turning car off.
