Scanmaster 2.0 advice

I just bought an 87 GN with mods listed below in my sig.

I've been reading up on the scanmaster so I understand what's going on with the car.

The PO had it upgraded to a 2.1. I guess that makes it record data faster. I downloaded the 2.1 information instructions and I'm not sure if it applies to my scanmaster. I am looking for the knock feature that I can't find on mine? It's supposed to tell me how far the computer retards the timing.

If I have this feature on my scanmaster what is the code for it? The 2.1 has it as "KR" I do not have that on my scanmaster.

You don't have to go looking for it. KR is displayed on the main screen after startup. O2 mv on the left side of the display, KR on the right side of the display.

Bought a used Scanmaster, when it comes on 2.1 appears, does this mean it is newer version & would work w/ powerlogger if I choose?

No, you need the 2.2 chip which likely comes with a new powerlogger.

2.0 and 2.1 difference is cross counts included in display nothing to do with baud rate it is limited by ALDL
