scanmaster 2.0 install?

Just bought my first scanmaster, its a 2.0 and i need help hooking it up. Does anyone have any pictures to show where/how this hooks up? i need a very detailed description as im not familiar with how to do this AT ALL. any help would be greatly appreciated. also, i read somewhere onhere that its possible to hook it up through the cig lighter? is this true?
