scanmaster 2.1 chip upgrade

is there any benefit to upgrading the 2.1 scanmaster with the chip that comes with the power logger
if you dont have a powerlogger or plan to run one?

(i have an extra chip because of a scan master g)
was going to give it to a friend.

no . the 2.2 is just for the powerlogger data stream . your data stream from a chip through the ALDL plug wont work on the 2.2 chip
