Scanmaster install instructions

Guys I picked one up from ebay a long time ago and never got around to installing it and there were no directions.
Can someone instruct me in the hook up, just don't want to kill something.

Scanmaster hookup

1.Hook the black wire to a (good) ground
2.Connect the red wire to a fused power source, such as your "IGN" terminal in the fuse box.
3.Connect the white wire to the ALDL connector under the dash to pin E, which is the top row second from the left.
