Scanmaster issue

Hey guys, I have an 85 GN. Installed the Scanmaster last week, L8 is the only parameter that works, everything thing else shows 0. Any help would be appreciated.

you need an 86 -87 1227148 ecm (and a custom chip for hotair)

I had heard that a scanmaster does not work for hot-air cars...is this true?...if it doesn't, what can I use as a scan tool? thanks

I had to do this as well and when you upgrade you can add a translator and new style maf .your car will thank you.

Thanks, I have the translater already plus a custom chip installed from Bailey engineering for the 1985 GN. Are you still saying that an 86 or 87 ECM is required?

Yes you will need the 86-87 ecm

When going over to the 86/87 ECM you'll want to install Caspers MAT Kit & Air Temp Sensor (IAT)

Not sure of the upgrades you have for your 85 - Nothing in your "Signature" so Caspers has a few products to make life easier on us Hot Air guys / gals.

FYI , your 85 ecm chip wont work in an 87 ecm
