Scanmaster problem

I used my Scanmaster tonight to check the setting of my TT chip, and when I switch it to L8 the number is jumping from 00 to 02. the number is also jumping up by 2 points when I go to blm. From whatever it's set at, and also is jumping as I'm adjusting it. bouncing up and down by 2 points. When the car is running, and I hit the recall button half the time after I go wot it doesn't retain the number. I'm thinking the two issues are related. Any ideas?

Do you have your scanmaster connected to a powerlogger? If so, try reseating the powerlogger.
