Tell me if you guys see anything wrong with these scanmaster reading. My car feels like it wants to turn off when I come to a stop it stumbles and regains its idle. O2 readings go to 0 ,118, 600 ,715 etc it bounces all over the place at idle.
I think I have a bad o2 but let you guys see if therebis anything wrong in the scanmaster readings. Car has a ls1 maf and translator plus with extreme extender chip.
Af 02
L8 26-28 moves around at idle
Bat 15.2
Int 125 -132 moves also at idle
Bl 116
temp 164
Ats 119
rpm 850 - 975 moves around also
Tps .42
Iac 23
cc 14 all the way up to 252
Pl 1.6
Sp 24.2
Thanks for the help.

This - Bl 116

Vacuum leak?
PCV?

What MAF are you running?

If stock - does the engine stumble is you tap on the MAF?
The (narrow band) O2 sensor is acting normally. (Probably)
It bounces across the stoichiometric boundary

Its a ls1 maf. Car only stumbles when coming to a stop light. Driving car is fine.

Sent from my SGH-M919 using TurboBuick Mobile mobile app

AF 2 @ rpm points to MAF / circuit problem. With AF of 2, ecm is pulling fuel. Even with maf unplugged, it will read around 4-6.
If there was a vac leak, blm would go >128, all else being correct. It "should" have set ses code.

Bat volt seems high.

That af reading is right for a extender extreme chip.

Did you check your maf pipe and cooler couplings? Check all vac lines?

The iac is what controls idle and keeps the car running when coming to a stop. Take note of it's reading in park warm at idle then again in gear at idle and also during the time it wants to die.

All good ideas.
Do a boost test to see if you have any leaks anywhere.
Probably something simple.

That af reading is right for a extender extreme chip. . . .
Hey Rick, that makes sense.
What does not make sense is my car shows AF of 6-7 with extreme.
Oh well . . . Don't want to hijack so will leave that for another thread.

OP . . . Look for possible dead spot in TPS. PL is recomended so you can post the log.

Jerryl, that's odd.

To the O.P.
Lets throw it in open loop idle and see how it goes.

First reset the chip. (unplug orange wire by battery for a few seconds)

With key on engine of scroll to int in the scanmaster. It should say 12. Hit the mode button one more time and go to bl. That will say 0. Press the gas pedal till it reads 4. Hold the pedal on 4 and shut key off. That will command open loop idle. Recheck the bl number with key on engine off to make sure it took.

It should idle better now. ;)

Let us know.

Rick

. . . And verify base fp since ecm is pulling fuel. Might be to rich off idle as well till ecm learns, and adjusts part throttle fuel.
