IAC at 2-5 looks like a vac leak to me. O2 is attempting to correct??
leaky injs?
Rotted vac lines?
Dirty MAF?
Bad ect sensor?
Fuel pump relay is toast and the pump is being triggered thru oil psi bypass sw.. Causing extended crank time?

Sounds like you need a spring cleaning, some freshenup on wear items, checking for vac leaks, etc...

IAC counts aren't going to tell you anything about a possible vacuum leak.
BLM however, will. And his BLM indicate no such thing. A vacuum leak would drive them VERY high.

BLM at 113 aren't that bad at all. It's still well within operating limits, and shows the ECM is correcting properly.

Agree with Dave (as usual)...Stock chip is your problem.... see my post in your other post.... ...although Chuck may be right about the fuel pump relay causing the extended crank before start.... do you hear the fp prime for 2-3 sec. when you turn the key to 'on', before you start the engine? If not, replace the relay... it's only a few bucks...

Thanks..

Thanks for the pointers.. Car came with a Dynotech stage III chip installed. I thought it might have been the problem so I changed back to the factory one with no change. The vac lines are worn a little (im going to change them tomorrow. .... and I did not hear the FP 2-3 seconds before start up, so im going to change relay tomorrow also. What do you think about the Stage III chip? Any thoughts anyone?

Ancient, outdated, worthless junk.... throw it in the garbage... you couldn't sell it on this board for $10.... do yourself a favor, and get yourself a modern TurboTweak 5.6 chip and adj. fp reg... best money you ever spent.... chip is like $85.... incredible deal, best chip out there.... chip technology has come a LONG way.... you won't be sorry...

TurboTweak Home

Thanks....

I will look them up!! I will try to find a adj fp reg too!
Thanks for the help guys;)
