Scanmaster Update 2.2 help

I am trying to update my scanmaster to 2.2 . When I open the pl30 update where would I find the port number?

no port number needed for upgrade
all you need to do for 2.2 is install the 2.2 chip into the scanmaster (replaces the 2.1 chip) and then connect the scanmaster input (white wire) to the SM output on the powerlogger aux block

Ever since I installed the chip my scan master only reads 2.1?

if when you first power it up it shows 2.1 ..... you have a 2.1 chip in there and need to install a 2.2 chip
