Scanmaster with the PL 2.2 chip

When replacing the chip to a 2.2 does the scanmaster it still have the recall function like it did with the 2.1 chip ?

I have one that works with the 2.2 chip and works great but after I do a short burst I hit buttons to bring up lowest afr and kr it does not show nothing but empty signals .
