I'm new to all this high tech turbo stuff but I have learned a lot of information on this site. I recently bought an 87 GN. I've done the hooker exhaust, RA 93 chip, 9" cone, Adj FG reg, and 160 therm. Bone stock with only a 9" cone I went 2.143 60 foot and 14.185 @ 96.26 (I didnt think too bad). I went back the other night with all of the above mods(FP set at 42-43) (93 pump gas) expecting to be in the thirteens and went 2.298 60 foot and 14.388 @ 96.82. Man was I disappointed. Anyway, I know a new fuel pump and scanmaster are in the very near future( along with oil press, temp, and boost gauge). Where is the best place money wise to get a scanmaster??? Where the heck do you learn how to read the dern thing and what everything means? I about came to the conclusion I would have had a better time slip if I would have put the stock chip back in and lowered the FP to stock. The exhaust really seemed to help before I did the other things. What can I expect to run with the above mods with the car tuned right. Any help is greatly appreciated.
