Scantool wanted... I think

Anyone got a Scantool FS here?

Before I go out and buy a new one?... any advice tips pointers, snide remarks?

I have an Auto-X-ray scanner, though I've never hooked it to my TR yet...

Or should I go with T-link?

Update is slow on the Turbolink 1 new frame every 1.5 seconds or so. If you want, I'll let you try my DirectScan, up to 18 frames of data per second. You will have to modify the ECM a little to accommodate the data cable. Nothing difficult though...

For a daily driver, you can't go wrong with a Scanmaster.

I am going to sell my directscan. Not sure of how much yet. It will have a laptop included. A HP 477mhz - 12" Screen - 3.5 floppy- cd-rom - 248 mb ram. No operating system. Also the screen does not work perfect it is lacking some luster but for Directscan which is bleck and white you never even notice a difference. Also the battery does not hold a charge. I will be posting it on E-bay shortly if you want it let me know.

Geoff, I'll take your advice on the chip first...

I was concerned as I took the car out one day and got on it fairly hard from a light (ricer call-out) and I heard the detonation. I let off, and got into it slower and still spanked the damned turbo'ed integra... (No... I wasnt racing... I NEVER race)

I'm ASSuming this was in 3rd or 2nd gear?... It shouldn't knock that bad in 1st (less load), unless you're running some MAJOR boost or some crappy gas.

Change the chip & get an alky kit, and you can be like Guy (BADDGUY6), who NEVER calls anyone out or street races anyone....

Does anyone know if Checker's lets you borrow the scan tools? I heard they will let you use them in their parking lot. I have an SES light on in my camaro.

Yes.... Checker's will allow you to borrow the scan tool in the parking lot. You just have to give them your driver's license.
