i went to turn on the gn today and i got some popping noise so i look under the hood and ask my freing to crank it same noisecoming from the intake i take out the upper pipe try it again and a ball of fire came out now wth is that all about

Sounds like the cam sensor is out of wack.

Pull the cap and check the wheel.

Good news is you probably have spark. Cam sensor is easy to check, hopefully the shaft doesn't spin by hand or pull out when you pull the cap off. I've had the roll pin shear in two that holds the sensor/oil pump shaft gear to the cam gear.
