Hey guys,

I did some searching and found a few threads about this topic, but nothing conclusive except lots of talk of just using ZDDP.

I currently use ZDDP and VR1, so I don't need to hear all about that again. I would like to hear if anyone is actually running Schaeffer and your experiences with it.

Thanks!

I have used the 20/50 racing oil but only in the summer when I'm going to the track. No problems

That is what I'm thinking about running, any problem running it through the winter? I won't be driving the car but will be firing it up occasionally.

I didn't run it in cooler temps my oil pressure is very good I just ran it for my trips to the track I liked the fact that it was good for methanol.
My oil pressure would be uncomfortably high if I ran in cool weather.

Subscribed for results, used in the diesel truck community with good results too so eager to see if anyone else shows up!

Nice, can't wait for your results. I see lots of Rotella love around here too so I might go that route while your experimenting. Do a UOA from Blackstone if you can! Don't have much a baseline but even if you've been using the same oil for a while and send in one sample its better than nothing.
